Day 4: His and Hers - DIY or purchase ready-made.

I found this to be just the CUTEST His and Hers type gift for a couple you know =)
You can purchase them here or easily DIY this...

Purchase a ready made cotton pillow in the color and size of your choice, you can get really decent priced ones at either Wal-Mart or Homesense. Go to your local fabric store and purchase some felt - how much you buy will depend on the size of your pillows...or your face. ;)

Cut out from the felt the shape of the hair for HER and a beard shape for HIM. The girl is much easier, coz you're pretty much done after that - either stitch in the hair piece or glue it with fabric glue. For the boy, however, you will have to have also purchased some faux fur (preferably in a solid color). Cut out the same shape as the felt, and stitch the two pieces together (the felt and fur) and then attach it to the pillow the same way you did for the girl's pillow...

and VOILA! What's fun about DIYing this is that you can totally customize it to the people you're giving it to...like, you could add some flirty lashes to the girl pillow with some hot red lips, or whatever it is that'll make it more personalized. For the boy, obviously you can play around with the different kinds of mustaches, and beards. If you want to keep it simple, you could also skip the fur...;)
